The work marries my love of abstract and figurative drawing with a challenge of a thrown form; a curver porcelain canvas. The drawing is spontaneous and carved in relief, through the applied unfired glaze, revealing the white porcelain underneath, I love the vividness of this technique. It allows me to see clearly my dream world etched in the round.
