DIANE LOWERY

Diane was already an accomplished artist in painting, sculpture, and interior design before building Lowery’s Hot Glass with Dave. As soon as the studio was complete, Diane could not resist the challenge of working with glass. From a moderate and conservative beginning, Diane has developed a family of sculpted fish which has become one the most popular items sold. With her strong skills in color and design and her ability to draw composite sketches, Diane now enjoys the challenge of working with others to create custom pieces. When not designing or sculpting glass, Diane enjoys composing music, playing piano and singing.

DAVID LOWERY

Dave began blowing glass in college. After serving as an assistant to several prominent glass artists, he was brought on board at the prestigious Bill Kasper Studio in Escondido, California. While working with Kasper’s hand-picked team, Dave learned the skills needed to make large-scale blown glass. Since starting Lowery’s Hot Glass, Dave has perfected his skills and has created his own style for large scale pieces. When he is not working on pieces for Lowery’s, Dave enjoys experimenting with different techniques with his fellow glass artists as well as playing the drums.
