Dear Friends, Supporters, and the Delray Beach Community,
With a mixture of heartfelt gratitude and bittersweet emotion, we are sharing some significant news. After more than 20 incredible years in Delray Beach, Avalon Gallery will be closing its doors in June 2025. This decision was not made lightly, but as we reflect on this extraordinary journey, we are filled with immense pride and deep appreciation for the memories we’ve created together.
From the moment we opened our doors, Avalon Gallery has been more than just a place to showcase American art, glassworks, and crafts—it has been a home for creativity, connection, and community. Over the years, we’ve had the joy of sharing beautiful artwork, discovering incredible artists, and welcoming so many of you into our gallery family. Your support, enthusiasm, and love for the arts have made this experience truly unforgettable.
Beyond the art pieces, it’s the relationships we’ve built that mean the most to us. We have been honored to share in your stories—whether helping you find the perfect piece for your home, celebrating special milestones, or simply enjoying great conversations about art, music, food and life. Your kindness, encouragement, and passion for supporting small businesses have been the heart of Avalon Gallery.
As we prepare for this next chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives, for championing local and national artists, and for making Avalon Gallery a special place in Delray Beach. While the gallery’s doors may be closing, the friendships, memories, and artistic legacy we’ve built together will remain with us always.
We look forward to celebrating this final season with you, reflecting on the incredible moments we’ve shared, and expressing our appreciation in person.
With warmest regards and heartfelt thanks,
Mavis Benson & John Terry
